1 July 1996 – 1 July 2022 – Today we celebrate 26 years!
Today is the Anniversary of the Code of Health and Disability Service Consumer Rights. It is a cause for celebration that over the last 26 years there has only been tiny changes to the wording of the Code which is testimony to the work of Commissioner Robyn Stent, the Code writers and the people of New Zealand..
Also it is the Anniversary of the Nationwide Health and Disability Advocacy Service provided under the Health and Disability Commissioner Act 1994.
