Our Web AdministratorSomething a bit different today… I am on LiveChat and email with so many people so often, I thought I would introduce myself and tell you a bit about what I do.
My name is James and I am the Web Administrator here at Nationwide Health and Disability Advocacy Services 😊
I have significant hearing loss and find audible communication challenging, so my work being online is well suited to my capabilities.
As the Web Administrator, I coordinate our website and manage our social media, along with processing enquiries from our email, Facebook, and forms on our website www.advocacy.org.nz
I am usually the person you would chat with on LiveChat and that is something I really like to do as I am passionate about supporting those who are Deaf, are Hard of Hearing, have Anxiety, and or any other communication challenges, that might otherwise limit access to our service.
My typical day starts with checking emails and social media for messages from overnight to be responded to by myself or assigned to an Advocate to make contact. Usually my replies are for more information, so we can assign an Advocate to make contact.
During the day I process emails and enquiries from social media, I am the LiveChat operator, and I also help out with other work in the office as I work as part of our 0800 Call Centre.
