To continue on from James’ post last week about his role as Web Administrator, this week we thought we would tell you about our amazing Call Centre Team!
We have a number of staff who answer our 0800 555 050 number and because we didn’t want to leave anyone out, this post is a little bit general
Each day our team take hundreds of calls from around Aotearoa New Zealand asking for assistance from our Advocate’s. Last year we answered nearly 20,000 enquiries, so we are a busy little team. When we get a call we take down contact details and some notes to send to the Advocate we assign. This helps get things started before our amazing Advocate’s respond!
Along with answering our phones, our Call Centre team also help LiveChat when James (our Web Administrator) is away, and we each have different Administration roles, so sometimes we are packing up resources to send to consumers and providers, sometimes we are processing surveys, and sometimes we are helping our team members from around the country.
Our phone calls are quite challenging at times, so we are a very close team who supports each other a lot. We are really lucky to have the professional and supportive team we do, and so are our callers
